Probably the millionth time this thread has appeared, but having posted in another thread it occurred to me that you don't see people playing cards in pubs anymore. Not much anyway.

Plenty cards played in the pubs around my way.

Saw purple birdsh1t on a fence post the other day.

Saw white dogsh1t at work today.

And my landlady has several high nellies, as do quite a few of her friends and neighbours.

I'd say there's plenty of card playing in bogger GAA club bars/pubs frequented by GAA people. I saw an ad for a high nellie, the seller wanted 500 euro for it. I think white poop comes from cheapy value dog food, I've seen some of that around too.

Lots of Elderberry trees round where I live with plenty of purple berries. You cant walk out the front door for fear of getting bombed by purple bird sh**. My windows, washing and car are destroyed. Would gladly wish it was something I didnt see anymore!!!

You never see those type of scumbags that use so much gel that their fecking hair shines and they usually comb it in a line and would go around in full Nike sweat gear and a big dirty cap with a hood over it. They're becoming extinct.

casual hitch hikers i.e. locals just going a few miles and hitching a lift. See some tourists with signs but nowhere near the volume from years past. Not sure if this is because of increased standards of living leading to more cars or people nervous about safety implications from both the hitchhiker and/or driver perspective.
