Hi, I just got a new phone upgrade Samsung S5. Everything looks good except for the charger, it works but looks weird. Is this normal? The gold wiring inside the usb looks dodgy, it's not 5 straight lines, its two in the middle is shorter than the ones on both sides and there's only 4 of them I can see. It also seems the port on the phone doesn't correspond to it. Looking online, it seems to be a different charger, with two different usb's in one. Help!!!

The charger slots into the right hand side port when you pull pack the flap. The phone has USB 3.0 which would use both slots but it's not required to charge it.

Thanks for the response. yeah, I get that. What bothers me is how the charger's gold wiring inside looks like. It's very different from how my s4 looks like.just want to know if that's normal for s5. I'll see if I can post a photo.

Looks just like my one tbh. Five slots in the upper black plastic inside the metal connector. Two large pins either side, two smaller ones and one blank. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
