Tp link extender to 3 mifi

I'm trying to connect the two of these but my laptop won't let me access 'properties' in internet protocol Vers 4 It is greyed out. I'm trying to obtain IP address automatically, anyone know how to fix this? I've tried resetting my mifi huwaii to no avail I'm on windows 7 on a viao laptop Many thanks in anticipation

Problem got sorted earlier by running malware, lots of bugs on laptop, once put in quarantine was able to click the properties button and obtain ip automatically. Thanks for the reply!!
