Heading off on holidays soon with a group, and apparently a karaoke night is on the cards, so I've been skipping through my music so that I don't spend half the night trying to think of one!
    Hoping to get some inspiration!

Thanks for reminding me they existed. And now I'm thinking about Steps!! I had forgotten all about them. :(

    Most but not mine.

I suffer from what I thought was a rare illness, Tom Jones syndrome, but the doctor told me 'It's not unusual'. So, that's my karaoke song.

Must be awkward getting the choir to follow you around.

One of my greatest gifts to the world is not singing in public; tuneless.

My past karaoke performances have included "Rocks" by Primal Scream, "Get It On" by Marc Bolan & T.Rex and "Burning Down the House" by Talking Heads. Thankfully none of those songs require pitch perfect vocals, alternately growling and yelping sufficed. :p

I'm thinking either David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" or "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds for my next time, whenever that may be.

Smokie - Lay back in the arms of someone

Note: needs near stupefying levels of alcohol though.

Like generational drug use or other destructive addictions , I blame my da who used to belt this out at parties.

Anything by elvis or sinatra. It takes a lot of booze for me to find my voice as I'm shy as feck, but then with prodding, a monster emerges.
