Will a powerline adapter solve my problem in new aprtment?

Just moved apartment and was wondering if a powerline adapter would solve my problem.
Phone socket is in the hall a distance I'd rather not have a cable run along and need to hook up both my PC and my PS3 (in same room together) to the router which will either be in the hall or in the room beside it.

Will I be able/is it advisable to use a powerline adapter to allow me to connect my PC to the router via on of those and will I run unto problems using more than one set powerline adapters at the same time?
Is there anything I shouldn't do with them in terms of positioning etc. Was looking at getting a pass-through pair like these ones

Would buying two sets of these be alright?
Speed wont be an issue for me since my internet is pretty much maxing out at about 20Mbps although I do a good bit of streaming from my PC to my PS3. Would they be ok?

Yes, they will be perfect. To save time, Argos are selling a great 500Mbps set for €32 (the 200Mbps set used to be that price).

Thought it would be ideal for me rather than using multiple sets I could use the multiple ports on the same one. My PS3 and PC are going to be relatively close to eachother so using the same powerline adapter would probably be ideal. Shame it's not a pass through one but I cant really argue with it for that price.

Was just thinking that the plugs are at a premium in my new apartment. Might have to get a passthough version. Not the cheapest either. Might have to think of a workaround since you're not supposed to plug them into extension leads. By using a passthrough version I would be able to use plug the extension cable into the adapter.

Not much more for the added passthough capability on BOTH adapters. Has two ports on the second adapter which would be ideal for hooking up my PC as well as my PS3.
Think I'll go with that one then unless someone suggests otherwise.
