I wonder as a matter of interest how many people are there in Ireland who identify themselves as Muslim?

The article quoted in the OP says 43000, while an article in the Irish Times earlier this week which is the subject of another thread stated the number as being "approximately 65000".

The last census said nearly 50000 Muslims lived here... when was that, 2011? 65000 sounds like a good estimate.

We (the west not ireland) invade their countries under the pretense of giving them freedom, we strip them.of natural resources, we put western friendly governments in place and then bomb the **** out of their civilians and then wonder why some of them.get angry and strike back.

Thanks for your input, I live beside a Muslim family, what is the best course of action do you think?
Just drop in a few subtle references that I agree with ISIS and I support the jihad of the infidels and hope I keep my head?

the reality is what are they going to do when they finish up jihad in syria/iraq/libya and increasingly jordan? they will have spent years butchering shia muslims, christians, jews, men, women and children. i cant see them arriving back and passing through duty free thinking, 'wow, that was a helluva trip, now lets get back to the auld sod'.

you can be as progressive as you like and fob off the figures, but these are guys who simply believe at the most basic level that if you are not the same sunni muslim group, you are kafir and i quote 'To Allah, there are no animals viler than those who do not believe and remain unbelievers'.

now i am sure there any many muslims who dont believe that however i am not concerned about them-- these guys in IS obviously do and i am concerned about them and if you arent, you should be.

now before you all start trying to have a different argument and sideline this and give strawman arguments, i honestly do not care which side of the fence you are politically...

Do you really think they're just going to let ISIS members back into Western countries? Not a chance, they'll be arrested on terrorism charges once it becomes known.
