That'd be a tremendous idea, catch RAW up to speed time-wise and release a month or two of head-to-head RAW & Nitro at the time.

with respect to Hardcore TV, they probably want to fill out the different sections (more selections) before filling them up. I wonder if them cutting costs severely has affected this.

That's how they aired Raw and Nitro on their On Demand thing on TV, 24/7 or whatever it was called: they'd air both episodes back to back. I've a feeling we're only gonna get random "Attitude era" episodes for this "Attitude era" week thing.

The footage has to be digitised and I presume needs to be watched so any edits can be made before being added. Noone knows of course whether or not the Hardcore TVs are all good to go or what not. Same with Nitro, Raw and Smackdown for that matter.

There's not been a new WCCW video added in ages also.

Picked up an Amazon Fire TV in the States and it works great with the network. All I had to do was change some DNS settings and it works perfectly.

Can even use the voice search to look for content.

Safe to assume that we will get OTT service just like everyone else since Sky have not made any comments relating WWE Network.

WWE's "Raw Attitude Week" officially kicks off on the WWE Network today. The week will be filled with debut appearances from famous Raw and Smackdown episodes that helped define what is now known as the Attitude era:
    Wednesday 9/3:
12/2/99 Smackdown: Hardy Boyz and Big Show vs. D-Generation X
3/29/98 Raw - Steve Austin's first appearance as WWF champion, Cactus Jack & Terry Funk vs. New Age Outlaws in a Cage
4/12/98 Raw - Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon for the first time
    Thursday 9/4:
4/26/98 Raw - DX invades WCW
10/4/98 Raw - The birth of Mr. Socko, Austin attacks McMahon in hospital

    Friday 9/5:
12/6/98 Raw - Undertaker vs. Mankind
1/3/99 Raw- Mankind vs. The Rock
    Saturday 9/6:
3/21/98 Raw- Steve Austin's beer truck attack on The McMahons
4/19/99 Raw - The Rock's funeral for Steve Austin
5/9/99 - Steve Austin & the Rock, & Vince McMahon vs. Undertaker, Triple H & Shane McMahon

    Sunday 9/7:
8/8/99 Raw - Chris Jericho debuts.
Every episode of WCW Monday Nitro from 1995 and 1996 have also been added to the Vault section of the WWE Network's VOD. For some reason I am unable to ascertain, the episodes are numbered starting with #79 and then move upwards. I am assuming that will be corrected over time. Like ECW and World Class material, any music that WWE doesn't have the rights to broadcast has been changed.

NXT Takeover next week too

I'm watching wrestlemania 2000. I remember at the time thinking this event was great. Maybe it's because I was 15 but jesus that hardcore match and ending in particular was a utter cluster.

Wrestlemania 2000 is poor. It was a daft idea having no singles matches particularly in the main event which was an over booked mess.

Backlash a month later was better and SummerSlam that year was a great big show.

At the time I thought WM 2000 was really bad. One of first times I willed a show/main event so I could go to bed - do it most months these days :p

I remember it being longer and the end didn't record and missed the very end of the main event. Not sure why I was that annoyed at the time. Christ mike foley misses that table spot by a mile and it looked like it hurt.

The Monday Night War show is alright, but you don't learn anything new to be honest.

It is good show for those who have zero knowledge of Monday Night Wars but older fans who have seen DVD's that cover Monday Night Wars, NWO, DX, etc it is not really worth watching.

I am 10minutes in to the new episode of Monday Night War focusing on DX and it seems to be the most fictional episode yet. The innuendos, immature behaviour and eating bananas and sausages had a short shelf life. It was tamed down as a midcard act the following year in 1998. I never found it all that revolutionary but it had its moments.

Rick Rude for WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the original DX though :pac:

I have only seen a handful of episodes of Nitro from 1996 so far, pretty good from what I have seen so far.

Right now, I am watching the episode when Rey Mysterio got throw like a dart to a wall.

Just watched the first nitro that's up on the network and I'd forgotten how different the sound was from the "ring" was in wcw. It wasn't as up front as wwf/wwe was/is.

Watched the first Nitro. Eric Bischoff is very annoying.

Watched the first nitro after bash of the beach, mysterio v malenko was very good, tag match with bill demott n boss man v regal and Taylor was forgettable, as was flair v jim powers, Eddie v psychosis was pretty good to.

I would of being pretty bummed out at the time though if I didn't see or hear from hogan after the turn. Was the whole reason I watched the show just to hear from hogan! Seemed like everyone else was focused on it!

Does the network have any kind of playlist system where you can just continue on to the next episode of Nitro?

No. Not on Android or PS3 anyway. After the last conference call they mentioned a few new features to be added and this was one so possible it will appear at sole point.

Surely playlists and Chromecast to come :(

No not yet. But Vince himself said that is something which is getting looked into. I've read a tonne of topics from people wanting this feature (myself included). It would really come in handy to have a "recently watched" tab, and the ability to auto resume. Netflix, basically.

WWE Countdown is very predictable, you always know who is going be #1 spot but it is still a good show to watch on WWE Network.

Isn't the #1 spot always on the preview cap?

The WWE Network makes some odd dubbing decisions. Why dub a generic theme over Voodoo Child for Hogan instead of Real American?

There was an update today for PS4, any idea what changes it brings?

Same on PS3. Haven't noticed an improvement.

Was gonna watch the Mick Foley 'Thanks for buying a Cactus Jack t-shirt' promo tonight but it's not been added. Pretty stingy that their "Attitude week" was only 8 episodes from 1998/99.
