Good holiday destination for Christmas?

    I was thinking of staying at home on Christmas Day, but going to go away on the 26th or 27th for a week. Where is a good destination?

    Germany and Paris are beautiful around Christmas time, and I'm sure you'd find great deals!

    Lapland cannot be beaten imo, but is verrry expensive. Austria is lovely and traditional too. I couldnt go away that soon after xmas though, I NEED my 7 days at least!
