Also about 30 minutes ago on the Malahide road I was passed by a grey Volvo Amazon saloon, a camo painted Saab 96 and a VW T25 camper travelling in convoy together, they all pulled into the Texaco garage before Clarehall but I couldn't stop to get photos.

Very rare cars..it is impossible to tell how rare as seemingly the company did not release production figures after 1982!

On that topic, spotted this at a local car show on Sunday.

That's sad with a capital F for flute. It's one thing passing your car off as a higher end model from the same range, but passing your car off as a different make altogether... Jesus wept.

Re the genuine Bentley DGT photographed, I don't understand why the reg number is so high? Surely total sales didn't reach six figures in 2010 let alone sales in Dublin.

When the revolution comes, I vote that the MR2/Ferrari F355 replica owners will be first to the wall. Then the Bentley-badged Chrysler owners.

Second hand import. They start with a higher number now. I think an import D reg now starts with 120xxx
