Blue BMW i8 on M50 heading south. Irish reg. Probably same one seen near Houston Station. No photos unfortunately because I was heading opposite direction.

On the way back from Hiroshima to Kyoto in a sleepy little town was this tidy mini. Like I said, the diversity is amazing, there really is "something for everyone".


Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the worlds least practical crew cab pickup truck. The mind boggles with this one.

Mildly tweaked MPVs were pretty much everywhere outside Tokyo. This was in Nara.



Another car park spot..... don't mess with this little pickup....looks like it gets used hard.




Lots of cool bikes dotted around the place too.

Up!Garage used stock. This place was cool, would love the same concept over here but I doubt we have the same supply of second hand parts to be fair.


Blurry. Yes, that is a Honda S2k engine on the shelf.




In a lot next to Up! - guy seemedpretty friendly and was happy for us to look around. Got loads of photos here which I'll upload some other time.


Garage owner actively told us to take more photos of this, I think he was slightly confused by foreigners taking pics of his stuff, but also happy to show it off!


This was tucked up around the back. Wasn't mega expensive irrc.

Thats right folks.... a 'stanced' Prius. There were whole car magazines dedicated to modding these things.

Anyway, thats enough for a while I reckon. Sorry there isnt much in the way of story. All I can say is, if you are interested in holidaying in Japan... JUST GO. Such an amazing country and experience. Never been anywhere on holiday where I have felt this safe and everyone has been so helpful (with the exception of the occasional red light area). There aren't that many cars in Tokyo itself unless you venture to one of the Parking Areas, and there are some floating around Odaiba.
Outside of Japan theres loads of modded stuff floating around the place. A whole host of these photos came from one street (with the Bee*R garage on it)

Thanks. You really have to love the car culture over these. Really amazing.

Extremely unlikely. Although there is occasionally one spotted in Deansgrange / N11 / Cornelscourt in Dublin. Its a kit car but a rather good one.

Saw a BMW i8 last week and a tesla model s just yesterday. Both Irish plates.
The i8 stood out like it was a spaceship, whereas you'd really need to be an anorak to know what the tesla even was

There silver 83 Capri also usually had a black Capri living on the same estate and a original Irish VW Corrado 16v but i couldnt see them today at all. seen a white or silver MG Midget in another estate there but made a b@lls of the picture:(
