My vRS will struggle to start when cold. Even if left overnight the next morning will hesitate, try to fire up but not start.

But when I start it up and give the accelerater a small small bit of pressure it'll fire up fine.

The idle will be a little rough for the first minute but then settle down fine, but I know that's common with the vRS.

I changed over to a spare set of Denso plugs and still the same. Also tested battery with a multimeter and it got a reading of 12.2v.

    Any ideas?

Engine temp sensor gives problems in this range. Might be worth a plug in to vagcom to check for faults before you spend anymore money.
