    That's one thing that creeps me out, if a man is naked except for his socks. Even when it's in porn, I can't concentrate on the issues at hand because I keep wanting to remove his socks. It's gross.

    Mainly for me its because you tend to lose heat through your extremities and seeing as your feet tend to be in contact with the ground an awful lot it seems logical to have a bit of insulation

    Funny enough, I am completely opposite. I cant sleep with no socks on. something in my head wired stupidly.

    Though I dont care about showing my feet in public. Never had issue with that.

    I have no embarrassment over my feet.

    Years ago in our little smoking club one woman said "Show us your feet". So I did, I just couldn't see the big deal. Another (oldish) woman there said "I can't believe you just did that".

    I could never see the big deal though typing it now, it does sound kind of sexual.

    Anyway elder woman went back to work so I said to the two younger women "Well". They said "well we're wearing sandals ain't we?" "No but fairs, fair."

    Smoke break ended with a - trust me to lower the tone down to the gutter :(

    The ones I know wear hardly nothing to bed. Their jocks are their pyjamas.

    There's totally such a thing a daytime pyjamas though. You don't actually wear them to bed that often, just put them on when you want to lounge about the house. I dunno if men have them though. My flatmate mostly uses fatpants and old t-shirts anyway.

    Why on earth would anyone wear socks to bed? How bizarre. Feet like the rest of your skin need time to breathe and get air, if they're kept covered constantly it's not good for them. I haven't heard of many people doing this anyway other than if it's absolutely freezing in the middle of winter and there's no blanket spare to throw over the duvet.

    I really don't get some peoples repulsion to feet. Ffs like, they're just a part of the body. We'd be a lot worse off without them, the way some people talk about them you'd think otherwise.

    Can't say i have any issues about being bare footed or anyone seeing them, but i can't stand my feet touching. I wouldn't be able to sleep without socks, hate the sensation of them touching the sheets
