All of my mates seem to have some kind of digestion issue. Either constipation or diarrhea is it all rubbish or does everyone seem to have IBS?

I have never had any tummy issues apart from the odd flu.

    I want stories AH! :D

Well, I was diagnosed with Crohn's around six years ago. It's under control, and many other sufferers seem to be worse off than me. I guess it is like IBS in some ways.

    Come on OP.

We could regale you with our stories of being bloated, , and about our colics, and about the "hurry out and the delay abroad".

Do you really want to hear this?

When did people start to feel the need to share every detail of their digestive lives, online?

I took a sh1t at 3,30pm and it was pretty solid and uh, consistent

jesus here's more information if you want it gurl

Pop over to the snacks thread. Without the amount of wine being sunk and the creative snacking the sewers of Ireland will be having fun times tomorrow. No doubt IBS will be blamed.
I feel an enormous fart coming on. Hope I don't follow through..

    ....ahhhhhhh.

Joy to the world and the world will sing.

Bad diet = Fat slobs = Gut probs.

Appropriate username ;). You'll find many with some form of IBS have fairly well controlled diets in order to limit problems.
IBS is a bit of a made up term for everything to do with digestion that has an unknown cause.

I had stomach issues for years and discovered it's severe stress combined with an inability to digest liquid milk.

We eat a lot of strange foods these days between highly processed stuff with artificial additives and natural products we mightn't be adapted to deal with.

If you're stomach isn't reacting well to something listen to what it's telling you and ding keep eating that food it's not coping with.

You say that as if it were a bad thing, but for people who are ceoliac the increased demand for gluten free food has had a huge impact on both the availability and price of gluten free products.

Do your mates not eat the vegtables and fruit? This makes you very sick even if it takes along time to happen. I live only a small time in Dublin but I see bad bad eating with most people

The NHS resorted to paying Glaswegian school kids to eat vegetables.

I'm a hipster. I don't even poo. The only hole I leave open is the two ones in my funky glasses where the lenses would go (if you're a tw@t).

Does IBS even exist? It seems to be cover for when doctors don't know what's wrong with you.
