Finding out 4pm Friday that your Saturday morning open water swim event is cancelled :(

(it's a water quality cancellation though, so I'd rather that than be puking my ring up for days afterwards...)

Has to be a better alternative than soiling you pants!
No it's gross. People should attend to such matters in the privacy of their own homes. Prepare properly before you leave home.

    Disappointing oranges.
You go to the trouble of pealing the damn thing and it's totally not worth it.

You can prepare all you want before leaving home but you can get caught out. Best to leave your pants clean and use a public toilet!

I'm sure we'll all left home feeling grand and then suddenly you need to go. It happens, and thank god for public toilets!

I'm renewing a previous rant about pants. Is everyone getting fatter or am I getting smaller? I bought a pair of tracksuit bottoms last week (mens small) but when I got home they were way too big, like a tent. I headed back in today and ended up exchanging them for a boys 11-12 yrs size (uh they're for my son) and they fit perfectly, also much cheaper. Ok fair enough I am 5'7 and < 10 stone but still I've never had to buy kids clothes before, why doesn't a small size adult pair of pants not fit me?

On a similar note, you should buy kids running clothes too. Way cheaper. Arms might be a bit short but boys age 12 stuff is huge.

Kids clothes are getting bigger, I can't get trousers/ track suit bottoms or short s to fit my skinny seven year old, they keep falling down!

When did a 32in waist become unique. Trying to find an affordable pair of trousers for work - 32 waist 34 leg!! Think I'm a freak:(

Had the same thing last week looking for 30"waist 32"leg.
Another thing that's impossible to get is overalls that fit any way right

On that note... Shirts in the US. absolutely ridiculous! Slim fit is not slim fit! Get a "slim fit" shirt that is correct neck and arm length but still swimming in it. I've nearly resorted to getting shirts shipped from home!

Humidity, how can one train/perform in this ****e!

    I'll join that too.
It's a long time since I weighed below 11 stone and fit into 32' waist jeans/trousers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,928 ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

I'd be the female version of that - never smaller than a size 12 as an adult even at peak running fitness.

I always wear 32" as well, though sometime I have to let the top two buttons out ;)

Good man Finnt, I'm a 30/32 myself too. As an old lad who remembers this kind of thing it used to be the standard size.

    But not anymore.

At least you've achieved half of the above ;):D

Please note ; In order to balance off my point above and not seem like a bully, I too have achieved the wrong half of that. Whoever said Guinness is good for you may have been telling porkies - It makes you fat ;)

Talking about these clothes sizes (waist/leg) I think we need more odd sizes, like 29/31/33.

Being nominated for the ice bucket challenge on facebook despite making it clear I was uncomfortable about it. Forfeited and donated to UNICEF instead. No doubt I'll receive abuse, but screw it.
