ipod touch 5 gen charging problem

Folks, Bought this ipod touch last December. For the past week the charge is only lasting 20 minutes. When plugged in for 15 minutes it displays 100% charge but battery dies after a few minutes use. Anyone got any idea what could be causing this??? Thanks,

Sounds odd. Try restoring the software and setting up as a new iPod. If that doesn't solve it, the battery may need replaced.
