I'm 100% stealing this idea from another forum section on Boards. But as outside of the busy period on this forum there is solid small core number of users who post here, I think we should have a interview section where people can put their names down and once a week we select a name and people can ask questions to get to know that person better.

Basically, every Monday a new topic will be made by myself with the name of the next person in line. You can ask this person anything you want for the week, as long as it's nothing too personal and in line with the forum.

Rules:
1. Questions should be mostly Christmas related although some leeway is allowed e.g. TV and Film interests, hobbies, etc
2. Let's not have questions that are too personal. The poster doesn't have to answer anything they don't want to.
3. Moderator has final decision on what questions are appropriate or deemed too personal or unrelated.
4. Only the poster should be answering the questions.

Default/Sample Questions
What got you into Christmas in the first place?
What keeps you interested in it?
How did you come across the Christmas forum on Boards?
What keeps you coming back to the forum?
What other big interest do you have outside of Christmas?
What Christmas moment do you feel had the greatest impact on you?
Where did your username come from?

This year will be my 1st full lead-up to Christmas with my Late Loving Dad as Dad was laid to Rest the day before Christmas Eve 2013, but this was always his season. Dad just loved this time of year so he did and ensured we all did too

I'll answer what I can though, but can't guarantee an answer to everything asked.

There are around 17 weeks until Christmas so what if we get 17 different Boardsies and have the questions running from Monday to Friday or less depending on the demand?

Maybe even get some more people to sign up just in case someone isn't able to answer the questions or if one thread becomes inactive ages before the next is due to start?

Just an idea and I really love this whole concept! :pac:
