You think that's bad, I know one of the Indo's Education columnists. They talk like they write... and got a psychology degree 'just to have it'. Woe betide anyone who gets treatment from this person - they'd be dead inside a week.

I've started threads that are better than Indo articles.

A simple Yes or No quetion followed by a couple of ads followed by loads of blank space where an article usually resides.

Well - Its already more riveting than anything Niamh Horan ever produced.

    Don't be so modest

Maybe it's my scriptblocker, but is there actually no tweets where they say 'Here are the best tweets' in this?

Well in common with habitual Indo columns, it still has the tradition of loaded headlines and presenting a Manichean worldview - so at least that is a constant.

The Indo is worse than the sun, sunday world, the star and the mirror combined (oh and the mail)

It's like the local pirate radio station up here a few years ago.

'And now a request for Mickey Francey in Poundtown who is 111 today, by Jesus, you're sticking her rightly boyo. . . . . actually, I'm being told that Mickey Francey is actually ill today, must get me eyes checked.'

I noticed this a few weeks ago:

    The Guardian - 28/07/2014
The real reason French women have stopped sunbathing topless

    The Independent - 31/07/2014
It's a cover-up: why we're no longer happy going toplessf

    The Independent - 01/08/2014
French women say au revoir to topless sunbathing

    The Independent - 03/08/2014
Decline in topless sunbathing sparks French breast-beating

Did The Independent lift an article from The Guardian, pad it out, milk it thrice in four days, to titillate its readers?

I always enjoy when they've clearly created a patchwork article by directly copying and pasting paragraphs from another article elsewhere. You'd think there'd be minimal effort but they still manage to throw in the same paragraph 2 or 3 times during the article.
