I haven't, no. According to the orientation schedule, we get them on Tuesday 16th. I'd love to know them before that though..
If you go here and click into each module it will give you the books for that module from last year. Most of them are older editions so I can't see them changing much this year.

Hardly any have ISBNs so they're not easy to find.

Thanks, I looked everywhere for that!

Looks like it's going to be quite expensive too :o

Oh, I wasn't going to. Just wanted an idea of how many and what kind of books we'd be using.

I kinda wanted to put it down on my CAO but decided against it. I'll be joining the Aviation Soc though! What about you?

Applied Language and Translation Studies anyone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,054 ✭✭✭1123heavy

    Hey Nimr

I do plan on joining the aviation soc. After 15 years of school doing anything but aircraft related stuff and being surrounded by people who had absolutely no interest in aviation I certainly can't wait to meet like minded people ;)

To the lads doin DC167 (PHA) I just finished first year this year, and only needed one book. One book does a few different modules and does nearly the entire course

About 20 in PHA, but applied physics and physics with biomed share all modules so there was nearly 50 in total!

Ohh. Yeah, I was looking at Applied and Biomed, looked pretty much the same in first year except 10 credits worth of modules. 50 is good.
