In Dungarvan for a few days and looking for recommendation for somewhere family friendly to eat.
Somewhere not to expensive and not mind 2 toddlers!!

Also any recommendations for a nice take away either regular fish n chips or Chinese?

    Tia

    Shamrock Resteraunt
    Mings Court Chinese
    Tonys Takeaway (has seating)

Most suitable for you I think

I think Interlude is great for casual food, not too expensive and has a great kids menu. The Moorings is also good with child friendly menus. Both are on the Quay so nice setting as well.

Tiffany's in the shopping centre is good. FGor a take away, you cant beat Genoas.

I'd regard Dungarvan as one of the best towns in Ireland for eating out, Lots of great choices.

Merry's pub and The Moorings pub are really good quality and not too expensive.

Interlude is nice and a bit simpler, & Crews is really nice and great value too.

Even The Tannery is reasonably good value compared to what you'd pay in Dublin or elsewhere for similar quality.

    Lawlors does a nice carvery.

Genoa's is the best chipper in the world.

    The Moorings
    The Anchor
The Tannery (Tapas Bar is cheap and great)
    Interlude

Ming Court - Chinese down on the Quay
    Tonys chipper up mary street

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

Got take out from Tonys one evening. Was good enough. Chips were great value.

Eat in Youghal another evening but ended up in Merrys one evening. Tried the moorings but they didn't have a table. Wouldn't rate Merrys tbh. Thought it was expensive. They forgot my sons chips even though they were asked for them twice so we sent them back when they eventually came. It was €54 for 2 mains, 1 starter, 1 child sausage and chips and a baby bowl, 2 drinks. The evening before in Youghal we had 2 mains, 2 childs meals, baby bowl, 2 desserts and 3 childs icecreams, 2 drinks, for €9 more
