FIBA WorldCup to watch in Galway

    Hi there,

    Does anyone know is there a place in Galway that will be showing any of the FIBA world cup games which are starting on 30th of August?

    Have you the channel Eurosport? They are showing the tournament.

    I did see a link somewhere on-line that Eurosport should show it, but according to TV schedule it doesn't...

    Doesn't seem to be any TV partner for UK or Ireland by the looks of their list of broadcasters I'm afraid http://www.fiba.com/basketballworldcup/2014/videos#|tab=tv_broadcasters

    It says on the fiba Wikipedia that Rte have the rights but can't find anything on their page.. Eurosport it is so!

    Eurosport UK aren't showing it according to their schedule. Nothing but US Open tennis and cycling there. Only way to watch it seems to be by buying the World Cup pass for €6.99 - http://www.livebasketball.tv/

    Anyone know WTF is going on with the Eurosport scheduling of the World Cup? I'm just home from the college football game in Croke Park and thought I'd be watching hoops for the night but neither of the Eurosports on my UPC are showing it according to the guide. Will be seriously pee'd off if it's not on as they're supposed to be showing it.

    found a fix to it. Remove fibaworldcup in the url and it should work

    Got an email earlier from the Livebasketball crowd. Basically saying that because they were problems on the opening day, we get an extra month added on to our subscription:) I'm gonna cancel when the World Cup is finished but it's still a nice gesture to do
