AVS Video Converter 8.0

Hi Folks, Does any know much about this program?? I downloaded it for a friend to try and create a dvd from an flv file, which worked ok but he said it took about 40 mins to convert and changed the file size from around 500MB to a few gigs. Is there a way to change the settings so it burns quicker?? Thanks :)

The only thing to make it "burn" quicker is a faster DVD Burner. As for rendering it to a DVD file then it's down to the processor in the computer. Remember that a smaller file means lower quality.

Check out Handbrake for video conversion. Easy to use and decent quality output and it's free !
