    I call it "lad" culture, as every media outlet refers to them as "lads." That word has been hijacked to favourably describe 16-22 year old males who use sunbeds, shave the sides of their heads only, wear grey tracksuit bottoms and strut down the street like they've got a broken arse.

    And they're taking over.

    Anyone aged over 22 who's adapted the look is a lost cause.

    I'm starving I asked one of the young lads here to get me soup when he was going to the shop. He brings me back a packet soup you make up with water. I can't eat them cos I'm coeliac and they have wheatflour in them.
    So I go to the shop myself pick up what I think is Vegetable soup only to find it's chicken and vegetable I don't eat meat :(
