Not much post 2007 petrol estates about though. Maybe look into importing from the UK a 2009 onwards Toyota Avensis Tourer petrol, they have low co2 so VRT shouldn't be unreasonable.0 -

thanks Baz, looks like an option.... I wouldnt have the first clue about importing from the UK.. do you know any reputable dealers?
I just edited the title to reflect that its not just estates im looking for, saloons with big boot space would also do0 -

I usually don't recommend one of these but your options are rather limited.

Petrol engine is more reliable than the equivalent 1.6 diesel, a 09 model should have most of the gremlins ironed out at that stage as they were coming to the end of the model run. Tax is highish at €750 per year but given it's a 5 year old family estate car with a decent boot for relatively small money, it might be suit you.0 -
