02 focus, rear light on drivers side won't come on, the other side works fine, and i swopped bulbs and still the same problem. I checked the earth at the battery and sanded down all connections but alas still nothing.

I haven't checked the fuse as i assume both lights are off the one. Would the wiring for the lights be earthed somewhere in the boot?

Any thing else i can try ???

I've had this happen on two of my foci's and the father's. It was always the bulb holder. Swapping it over will prove it or try sanding the contact lightly to clean it up.

Is it the rear parking light only?

Left and right parking light fuses are separate. Both front and rear are on the same fuse though so if the front one is working then the fuse is ok.

you were spot on George, front parking light was out too... went through all fuses, and found 3 blown (2x 20 A, 1 x7.5 A). Fuse layout was not as per was illustrated. Anyway replaced all 3 and still have the same issue. All parks on inc reg plate but RHS still out. 7.5 was parks, don't know what the 2 x 20 A were for

I'll try this tomorrow, i'll swap them around and see if it's the unit, and if so i'll go from there...

Just in case it isn't the holder , what then is the step?

So are you still missing front and rear or just rear? Which fusebox did you check?

rear drivers light is all, and checked the fuse box behind the glove box.
