Tbh I'm kinda looking to change at the minute and being able to fit in a mountain bike is high on my priorities too.

I've an A4 saloon currently but I want some more space (for work as well as the mtb) so I'm probably going to go for an estate car when I change.

I've test driven loads of cars recently and I'm changing my mind all the time, but at the minute I'm thinking about a Seat Exeo Estate Tdi 170.

Seems like a good value option to me but I'm changing my mind all the time! lol

An Exeo Sport Tech was on my mind but think the Honda and Ford might be a cut above.....if a bit more expensive ;-)

I really hate when it comes time to part with a car that hasn't given as much as an hours trouble :(

i've done about 10k miles on my corolla since i got it in Feb this year. It's taken an indicator relay, 10 euro from breakers.Ignition coil, 50 euro from breakers. A dims bulb. 4.99 from aldi as part of a kit.

    And a regular service.

This is a stupid time to be getting up.

Oh dear, I might have spent a bit too much in the last few weeks :o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,428 ✭✭✭Dartz

Only two more weeks until I can afford

Unfortunately, it's got to be left sitting for two weeks. It still starts cold, but it's threatening to flood. Hot starts are no better or worse than they've ever been.

It says something when an upgrade kit is cheaper that OEM coils - and the upgrade coils are 2-3 times the size, with integrated heatsinks.

    Spent a bit today myself.

Belfast, city picnic whopper burgers !

Full tank of BP ultimate diesel.... notice a bit of perfomance boost

Currently getting 65mpg, would love to know what i would get with a decent set of tyres and if i was taking it easy !

Plenty of southern paddies making arses of themselves on northy roads !

Right ive a question, i got two tyres for the 900 today for 20 quid off adverts, continentals with about 5mm of thread left on them, win! :D

the 900 has a tyre size of 185/65/15, while the tyres are 185/60/15, can i get away with using them? Or did i just waste 20 euro?

don't pass a 5 for looks and great drive :) everyone should own one at some stage. The new ones, from 7 onwards just look **** :)

I'd love an evo. I seen a video on facebook of an evo destroying a ferrari, but then another of a GTR destroying an evo. In both cases they left the other vehicle for dirt.

ARAL 102 Octane fuel is awesome. Car was much more responsive and 0-100 km/h time was improved by 0.3s compared to regular 95 unleaded.

Fuel economy improvement was noticed to. 4 MPG more.

And now... back to the cheap 95 :( €1.79 per litre is too steep.

Id be after an 8 or 9 in black or blue pref FQ320/340.

Might be tough to get a decent one for 11k though

The 65/60 ect number is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre.

    so 185/65 = 120.25 mm high sidewall.
    185/60 = 111 mm high sidewall.
