Sitting on my bed firing back a few vodkas on my own watching 24 got me thinking about what a taboo drinking alone is, sure I enjoy going out and all with mates at the weekend butsometimes you need relaxing aalone time too

it's ok if you don't have a drink problem

or you're not going way over safe limits for the week

I just drink socially once a month now as I end up bingeing for a few days if I start drinking at home

Same here, pretty much as every other Friday. I am so sick of work, people, problems, noise. All I want is to kick off my VMs and mess around, chill, post crap on boards, drink wine, smoke weed.

I'd often sup a few beers or stronger when playing Xbox, technically I'm not on my own but yeah, I can't understand the taboo either. It's probably down to the fact that the conception is drinking is to get blotto, as opposed to a glass of beer at lunch
