Siemens SPC 5300 Panel - can't connect via LAN

    Hello All,

    I've recently installed a SPC5300 & gone through a vary basic setup (location, language etc..). I've been trying to connect via a web browser but no joy.

    I've tried
    direct, computer to panel connection, & also via a router,
    with internet explorer, & also firefox

    On all occasions the webpage just times out.

    I've 'pinged' the panel & they are successful so it is definitely connected to the LAN.

    Am I missing something?

    Well, seems to be a simple solution.

    I was typing

    192.168.178.99 in my browser. Turns out you have to type:

    https://192.168.178.99

    suggest you remove your ip info from this thread QUICK!

    Hi Leo,
    Are you able to ping the panel?
    You have tried to enter https instead of http?
    Your firewall on your PC is not blocking the traffic?
    The IP-address of the panel is correct?
