Cliff Richard now?!

Detectives investigating a claim of a "sexual nature" have searched a property belonging to Sir Cliff Richard.

The home in Sunningdale in Berkshire was searched after police gained a warrant.

According to twitter, twitter that in 2010 Cliffy renounced his British citizenship and became a citizen of Barbados. Which has no extradition treaty.

He's currently "Out of the country".

It's been rumoured for years on the t'interwebs that all was not well in chez Richard. If you google his name with "kitty" along side it may raise an eyebrow.

I'd be sceptical unless it goes all the way to court and gets proved, he's an easy target for scurrilous rumour for the no smoke without fire brigade, so he's never married and had kids ? if that's the logic people go by it must put a huge chunk of the population under suspicion of such stuff.

Google Elm House Guestbook. It's a grim read but puts a lot of sense on how all these allegations are coming to a head now for a lot of people. A lot of it should have come to a head years ago apparently but injunctions have been protecting a lot of scum.

Wow I can actually give relevant information, a friend of mine met and got her picture taken with Cliff on holidays in Portugal last week, so if Interpol is reading get to Portugal.

He is in the Algarve quite a lot , he has villa and a vineyard just outside Albuferia near Guia.He also has street named after him in Albuferia,they seemed to like him here :-)

A lack of evidence doesn't mean the crime wasn't committed. In this case, there could be no evidence currently available to prove the crime but this doesn't mean Cliff Richard didn't commit the crime. That's the problem with the whole 'innocent until proven guilty' part.
