had an admittedly quick look at the wine today and most of the bottles that I would normally choose have gone up in price. Boost is right.

didn't realise electronics and TV's are included tho'....

Yeah kind of makes saving them up a bit worth it, particularly if you aren't with Bord Gais where most of my vouchers go.

Surely there is a limit on how much vouchers you can use towards something like this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,210 ✭✭✭maximoose

Doesn't appear to be the case:

    T&Cs:
Minimum Boost voucher value of €5 applies.
Vouchers can be exchanged at all Tesco stores except Express and Petrol Filling stations. Product ranges subject to availability.
You can only exchange multiples of €5 worth of Clubcard vouchers for Boost tokens. You don't need an exact €5 Clubcard voucher – you can make up the amount with smaller value vouchers. You can use a higher value Clubcard voucher and any change will be credited back to your Clubcard account in points. Clubcard vouchers can only be exchanged for Boost tokens from 06 May 2014 to 01 June 2014 inclusive. Boost tokens have no cash value, no change given, are valid until 15 June 2014 and must be used in conjunction with your Clubcard.

Each Boost token may include multiple items in a single transaction but must be from the included items in the selected department. Check availability of products first to avoid disappointment. More than one Boost token can be used in a single transaction, however the total cost of the products purchased, including any discounts, must equal or exceed the value of the Boost tokens used. You must pay the remaining balance using a valid payment method. Boost tokens cannot be exchanged back into points or into cash or for another department. Damaged tokens can only be reissued by contacting the Clubcard Rewards Helpline below. Items purchased with a Boost token can only be exchanged, with a receipt, for goods in the same category to the same value. Any refunds for purchases made using Boost tokens will be equivalent to the Clubcard voucher value originally exchanged. Your statutory rights are not affected. Clubcard Terms & conditions apply

Is there a limit to the amount of vouchers I can exchange?
No, you can exchange as many vouchers as you want in multiples of €5.

I exchanged nearly €200 instore on last boost promo, one large voucher gave staff a headache fast forward to an hour later still making smallchat with manager I was told that her and her family were saving them for the next boost promo at Xmas which will be timed to run with the xmas voucher clubcard mailing - can't say what they'll change T&C wise but she said the plan was to run the offer twice this year May/June and Nov/Dec. Would be a great way of getting hold of xmas shoppers.

I had 15 euro in vouchers and I managed to exchange them for a 40 euro voucher for a restaurant + 15 euro tesco mobile top-up.
If you ask me, that's excellent value.

Just as this was being posted I was online exchanging my points for admission to Legoland in England.
For €11 in vouchers I have got a free adult entry which would set me back in excess of £40stg so it was a great bargain I feel.
I used to put the vouchers against Bord Gais but found it very difficult to actually exchange them online having to log into both Tesco and Bord Gais websites (unless I am missing something). In the end I just gave up as i found it very unfriendly to the user.

Also.. today I got my vouchers in the mail which included 'reprinted' vouchers that I had not used previously..probably lost in the bottom of a handbag.
Tesco are really upping their game.

Can you use multiplies of vouchers in one place? Like could I exchange 20 euro of tescos vouchers for 60 euro worth of restaurant vouchers and use them all at once?

Am the same with using them with bord Gais its really a pain to redeam them think its that hard so people give up but i got there in the end.

Im on the christmas saver and only get the vouchers in november after building them up all year.
I also throw a fiver off a week at the till into the christmas saver and get it back in november statement.
I had saved 115 euro so got €6 free and had nearly €80 in points built up.

i used all the vouchers and got €400 off me gas bill was in credit for next two bills was great.

it says on the saver and free vouchers that they cannot be used with clubcard deals but they worked for me.

Can I ask a stupid question please?

I have a load of clubcard vouchers - all 1.50 off (about 10) - Can I use them all together in transaction or do I have to use one voucher per transaction?

I think I can but can't see it on the terms and conditions - thanks

I was on the Christmas saver as well but when the last special offer came up I couldn't use them, so I have changed them back to normal vouchers, they came in yesterday.
