PSN issues with eircom broadband

    Hi,
    I recently got a new ps3 however when I try to play online on PSN, especially COD Black Ops 2. My broadband provider is Eircom. Any help in fixing this problem greatly appreciated.

    What router do you have. I had the same issue with one of their old silver routers. Fixed it by viewing the "cavan" youtube vid.

    You cannot connect to MP games? What is your NAT type?

    Hi sorry havent gotten on in a while. I had one of the old silver routers and eventually I got it portforwarded and it worked. However I am after switching to one of their newer routers ( a ZyXEL D1000) and I am having the same issues again. I cannot remember how to fix the problem.
    No I cannot connect to multiplayer online games at all, as far as I know NAT type 2.

    I also cannot come across the new router on the portforwarding list for ZyXEL.

    I have the firewall lowered to low and it worked for a day and now wont work again. I have tried portforwarding it using the above website but it still wont work. Any help?

    Just picking up on this. Has anyone found port forwarding instructions for the Zxyel D1000? There's none of the Port Forwarding website
