    Hey everyone,
I'm using a decent broadband/phone bundle from eircom, its fairly fast (I live in Terenure, relatively close to an exchange). I wanted to upgrade to efibre. They seem to have a great bundle, i checked using my landline number and they said i would have speeds of up to 90mb/s.
So I'm pretty pleased with that, UNTIL I hear of this ESB/Vodafone deal to bring Fibre throughout Ireland with speeds of 200-1000mb/s! Obviously thats very interesting, so i was wondering when would Terenure (D6W) be likely to avail of this service? as far as I can see this service will reach the first homes in 2015, but when is it likely to come to urban Dublin?
    Thanks

List is out already, its not coming that far into town to start with. You're probably talking 2-3yrs to get ftth, contract for efibre will be well.up by then.

Thanks, that seems realistic. I suppose I'll have to wait until then for my 1000mb/s *sigh

UPC do 200Mbps with gear that could go a lot higher. Always a chance they'll come to the area soon(theyre in lots of surrounding areas).
