Was only thinking yesterday that pretty much everyone with a basic B5 passat must've swapped their orange front indicators for clear ones. Haven't seen one with ambers for years

There are a few very early Passats here with orange indicators loitering round Navan.... But those are people into the dubber scene....

Want to add mk3 Golf lights to that collection? Standard lights. You can have them, just collect them. I was given a set, would rather see them go to someone like yourself

Years ago, I had a huge collection of wheels for different cars. One thing I had a huge number of were Avensis wheels, at least 12 of them. Just bare steel wheels, ranging from €5 to €10 per wheel. Not one sold.

I even had a set of Corolla alloys, €50 for the full set. Also no one bought.

    I binned the lot

One more question. How much is the tax on a 2010 1.9 octavia compared to a 2010 1.6 octavia?

Thats the opposite to what you wanted, can you bring it back to them?

I would be selling them anyway, so I don't know. Also I don't really have any plans to go to Dublin right now.

    Thanks for the offer though.

So, like I mentioned already, my renewal papers came with a price of €950.

I just called them up to get it renewed and they asked for €720.

    Magic.

It was an every year magic for me until I hit €300 mark. After that you can't go any lower:mad: Can't complain, though.

Well done, €200 earned so easily:D

At nearly 25 and my quote is much the same, I feel like I'm being bummed silly for loose change by the insurance companies still :(

I know you're only a youngin but what age are you if you dont mind me asking? Don't think I came below the grand mark for insurance till I was 21 with 3 years ncb/experience and full license. And that was for a 1.4 corolla. Stupid Celtic tiger prices were there well after the tiger was dead. 25 now. 2.0 S60 for €550 is the best I've gotten. Although a lot of people seem to be getting ridiculous renewals lately and mine is due in October :(

    Mini Rant,

Google ads are so stupid, they read my mail so they know I've already paid for a hire car, but I'm still getting ads trying to flog me one!

Next i'm going to get some excess cover, and I'll have the same crap going on. Are they trying to stoke some buyers remorse??

Google: "Heres a better deal you shoulda bought instead"
Me: "Thanks Google, thanks a lot…"

Install adblock if you're using chrome. That kills them all including the annoying ones on donedeal.
