Can you leave a car seat in for an nct?

My other half has a car seat in her polo that's having an nct tomorrow. Will it fail if it has a car seat in it? It's a isofix one if that makes any difference. I just couldn't be bothered takin it out if it doesn't have to come out. Cheers
