I'd like to know how people can afford to actually smoke!

    By earning money.

Me, I just like to relax of an evening and smoke a hape of poles.

Is vaping not like going from the frying pan into the fire?
Just another nasty little follow on habit  Smokers are like babies with soothers.

Unlit ones that don't pollute the air that I breathe!

Smoked Carrolls for years then switched to Marley Golds & then took up Vaping 2 years ago.

Find the whole smoking thing strange now. Can't believe I did it for so long.

By doing without other more essential things. I know smokers that complain they have no money for certain things but when it comes to fags money is never a problem. Many will put smoking before food.

Never smoked but always thought their branding looked great on F1 cars.
Marlboro McLaren. Rothmans Williams. Camel Williams. Gold Leaf Lotus. B&H Jordan.
Didn't encourage me to smoke one iota despite the pathetic attempt to get F1 off Irish TV screens.

Sanctimony quickly catching up with self delusion here.

Lucky Strike was a nice smoke when I was that way inclined.

But the likes of Rothmans or Johnny Blue were filth.

Started off with Rothmanns cause my mom smoked them and thought i could get away with saying they were for her. Then B&H, Winfield for a while cause they were cheap, never liked carrolls or john player. I'd only be a social one though. Marlboro know how to get a customer though...mmmmmm.

The whole vaping thing, is the inhaling of vapor likely to cause mould to grow in your lungs? sarcidosis and some such (spelling prob wrong). Not starting a pissing contest of which is worse just a concern about vaping

You'd need to be inhaling mould spores. It's a bit like being worried you'll get mouldy lungs from a sauna or some such.

Really people are seriously over thinking the vape thing.

I can understand why people see smoking as nasty (second hand smoke, dirty fingers/teeth/the smell) but what's nasty about vaping?

It looks knackery when you see a grown person sucking on a lump of plastic.

I don't know why but it just does.

I actually tried Consulate a couple of weeks back, some girl gave me one in a smoking area.

Nice and smooth, a real broad's smoke of course like all menthol fags but I enjoyed it. They're hard to find though, most shops don't carry them.

a real broads smoke??? you're watching too many Jimmy Cagney movies :p;)

    ...I don't even...

What I was looking for were actual reasons as to why someone might think it's nasty. (Eliquid drops left behind from filling it up are all I can think of :pac:)

    How does it 'look knackery'?

In actual fact, I don't think I've ever seen the type of person you'd call a 'knacker' use one, so how are you even associating it with that group?

Can't understand the hate for JPB at all.

It looks silly and if you decide to give up smoking why get addicted to vaping

Lots of things look silly to other people, doesn't stop people doing them :)

Believe it or not, some people really enjoy smoking. It can be a pleasurable thing.

Switching to vaping isn't necessarily just a tool for 'giving up smoking' - it's enjoyable in itself. I don't understand why some people can't grasp that.

Believe it or not I know that too well, having a wife that smokes a pack and a half every day and will never give them up.

As long as you keep thinking that, she won't.
Used to be in the same predicament, I smoked she didn't. Constantly telling me they were bad for me and whatnot. Fell on deaf ears.
Only when I realised she had given up on me and suffered silently did I start thinking to myself did she deserve any of this.
Strange beast nicotine coupled with smoking. Years of conditioning from all walks of life. Same way gambling is going now :-(

She says they will give her up before she will give them and I believe she is right.
