Did they not complain a little when it was happening to them ? Are these people delusional to think they can do anything they want "Because holocaust".

There going too far this time there is no way there going to get away with this sort of rhetoric. Even the British foreign minister has spoken out this evening about the slaughter in Gaza. I think the world will finally wake up and see who the real terrorists are.

Language is flexible, I don't think Wordsworth was talking about homosexuals when he used the word 'gay' in the poem 'The daffodils'.
I think our and Wordsworth's use of the word "gay" is separated by more than an election result.
I can see now why you bailed on this thread the first time. All these big (two, even three syllables!) words must be very confusing for you.

I'm amazed at the number of same day accounts that pop up here and post solely in this thread before disappearing. It's pretty clear they are shills. The word play they use to derail the thread and justify murder is pathetic and sickening. The faux outrage when they can twist someones word into making it look like they support the murder of Israelis is equally pathetic.

Where they are really going wrong is a lack of knowledge of their audience. Up until 100 years ago we were Palestine. We have experienced military action against civilians. Was bloody Sunday justified because of the actions of the IRA? Would England have been justified in shelling republican housing estates after canary wharf? I doubt there is an Irishman that would accept that. But this is exactly what the Israeli propaganda is trying to justify. HAMAS is a terrorist organisation. And inevitable result of oppression, no different to the IRA. They should be stopped, but not at the price of so many innocent people, so many children. It's completely unjustifiable.

Still doesn't change the meaning of the word "Seize".

Again, is English your first language?

The same people who voted to invade Iraq, helped get rid of Gaddafi and now had to send a warship to Libya to get its citizens out, supported the opposition in Syria which included terrorists, one could go on.
The hypocrisy from Britain...got involved in lots of conflicts and wars where countless numbers of people died.

You know well it was when someone said there was a k missing in my name.

All this work over one word yet you had no problem thanking a post that suggested I supported hate crime and murder which the kkk were involved in, simply because my opinion didn't suit. It was attack the poster by the person who posted that.

    This time ?
They've been murdering and slaughtering each other in that whole region ever since the British caused the whole mess before running off in 1948. It's nothing new.

If they wanted to kill civilians, there would have been 100 times more dead.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

We need a bigger rolleyes for posts like the one posted by carpejugulum

The British parliament voted to invade Iraq. Some politicians had sense, the majority didn't including the Tories.

Of course if one wins a general election and they seize power.

I would have taught that if you win an election you are given power by the electorate.

You've already posted here stating that Israel will be returned to Jews because God said so.
As a Christian I assume you support what God says and does?

Agreed. Its nothing new. But that does not mean we should accept the deliberate genocide of a race of people who had the misfortune to have been born on, and farmed land a group of religious fanatics want.

Look at it another way. When nazi germany was hell bent on exterminating people of jewish descent, that was nothing new in those times either. Doesnt make it right. And I really dont want to be one of those people who said (then) we never knew. Or looked the other way.

Or perhaps you seize it from the president in the case of Ireland? Don't think Michael D could take that much excitement at his age...

I only saw your post about the PM sent you the other day.
    Did you find it offensive?

No one is claiming that, but there are several intertwined proxy wars also being fought. Human beings pitting human being against human being against human being in order to manipulate and control. The powers at be don't give a shyte what ordinary civilians in the world think. They'll tell you what to think. As for fanatics, Hamas are fanatics, the Zionists are fanatics. Their political allies and supporters are also fanatics. The arms suppliers are fanatics. You don't have to be religious to be a fanatic, and the ones that are, in reality, don't give a shyte about their religion.

I didn't actually, not that I'm really the take offense type.
It was a bit bonkers though, which was more what I was expecting.

Also, I'm sorry but I'm not sure if it's even possible to have a conversation with you if you insist on redefining words on the fly. We may as well be speaking different languages.

Yes, but you'd rather make up guesses.

Like I said, I wouldn't have to guess if you'd make an actual relevant point.

We need to remember the irish plantation when the English took Irish land to allow English lords to settle here, made the Irish second class citizens in there own land arrest people with out charge, restricted food,
with out dropping a bomb like Israel is doing in gaza they still managed to kill millions of people by doing nothing in the great famine...

I feel for the people of gaza the Jewish citizens were not wanted in Europe so once again England took it on them selfs to pop the Jewish people into the Middle East to create what is now called Israel, and within less then 3 years with the help of the US moved into Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and still hold the West Bank.

How would you feel if 40 million dollars worth of bombs we're being dropped into an area, less the size of Dublin by a country who has no right in the land controlling the energy, water and food supply going in.

Then how does God know that the Jews will reclaim Israel? What if they all use their free will and decide to stop bombing sleeping babies?
Doesn't sound very free if God made you and knows exactly what you're going to do, does it?
