People who use Facebook to congratulate family members who live with them. I see that as attention whoring of the highest calibre. So you're child/spouse wins something, they live with you ffs, you just want everyone on Facebook to congratulate YOU. Pathetic.

I fully expect to be in this situation at some point this weekend, possibly tonight. On one side of us it would usually be over by 2am at the latest on the other side they could arrive in anytime up til 7am and start partying:mad:

My cousin had a baby recently and the general public on FB knew before the granny. Not posted by the lucky parents themselves, but by friends of hers who got the news and whose first reaction was to post it online. Whatever your opinion of FB, I find this to be the height of ignorance. Not your fcuking announcement to make and pathetic attention seeking

Annoyed because I had to google that, and then realise I knew who he was already, just didn't know his name was Arnold J Rimmer.

He was funnier in "The Brittas Empire" anyway...

    /not a Red Dwarf fan :o

My daughter appears to hate me today. Not fully annoyed by it, trivially annoyed is more apt.
She just sat down beside me which at first I thought was for some sort of reconciliation, but it was just to fart and she has now walked off.

It's extra funny because your username always makes me think of farts! :D

UPDATE: My girl isn't a big fan of me today either. She clambered into my bed this morning as usual, wriggled in beside me, wrapped my arm around her and then said " Go away daddy".

Ah, you're too high maintenance anyway. I bet you're the type who puts 'TB' at the end of texts and then has a hissy fit when people don't text back within the hour. :pac:

Ice cream van in estate playing stupid jingle in pouring rain, who is going to go out in that, nobody, but he still sits around for five minutes.

My sister is a nurse and permanent nights and the summer holidays actually fill her with dread because the ice cream van passes her house 3 times a day with the music blaring and of course sometimes he'll be stopped outside her house serving ice cream with the music blaring.

Do you want orange juice or mixed fruit juice?

    Orange juice.

Are you sure? You usually have mixed fruit juice.

    I want orange juice.

Ok, once I press the button, it's ordered, and you can't change your mind, right?

    Ok.

    (Presses button)

    No, wait....

Parties being advertised as "free" and "come one, come all" but when you get to the venue you need wristbands that were carefully dispersed to a select few earlier in the day. Us and our friends went and had a brilliant night elsewhere but we were a bit annoyed at (a) being turned away at one venue and (b) being squashed into a small section of another venue because the rest was cordoned off for the chosen few.

Spending your first wedding anniversary with a divorced couple (friends with friends of ours) who are still co-habiting and basically doing everything as if they are married but aren't. Lots of "oh we don't even have an anniversary huh huh huh", "marriage is **** huh huh huh" and "wait another few years and you'll see huh huh huh". Yeah, thanks for that.

The ****? Are they still in a relationship? I don't get it? Why did they just not get married in the first place?

Or are they still co-habiting for economic reasons?

This, but the couple I know wouldn't have their heads up their own holes like those two!

Yeah, still in a relationship, recently had a child.
No problem with what they did but I don't need to be listening to bitter people telling me marriage is **** just because it didn't work out for them.

When someone asks my advice about something I work at, for his girlfriend. It's a simple straightforward answer, so I tell him. He then makes it complicated by "well my brother said you can do it this way". Okay, no disrespect but what would your brother know about waxing? I didn't want to be rude so just repeated what I'd told him at the start, and pointed out why his brother was wrong. Again "oh I don't know, David said..."

Right. What are you asking me for then? Go ask David, do it the way David tells you to. I don't care. Just stop annoying me about it.

I would be fit to kill, in that situation. 3 times a frickin day!

I know, it's a bit of a nightmare but the rent is reasonable and her landlords are lovely and it's in a great location for work, she's a homecare paediatric nurse and a lot of her cases are located in very easy reach of her place so she can't tick all boxes.
