What are some of the best ones and how do I go about getting them? E.g. downloading youtube songs for free and listening offline. Thanks in advance.

There's a utorrent and bittorrent app you could use to acquire legal music torrents.

Tubemate lets you download with a choice of video quality or convert to MP3, think you need another app for the proper MP3 conversion otherwise you basically get a blank video with audio which is still massive in size. Can't remember now, not installed it on my new phone yet as I prefer to just use my own proper MP3's.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I ended up getting dilandau as it was easy, so going to try that out for a while and see how I go as it seems to be good for catering to my obscure music taste! Will definitely give some of the others a try too if it doesn't work out. With spotify do you not have to pay as you go?
