MTB Shoes: 661 Filter vs FiveTen Freeriders

Anyone have any experience with these? 661 Filter vs Fiveten Freerider VXi Or any decent MTB shoe for flats? Kinda want something I can wear casually as well so I'm avoiding the only-for-bike look.

I've got Freeriders and I like them. Soles are really grippy, even in wet which is excellent. The soles are stiff too, but that means walking around in them a lot gets uncomfortable.
