Sure we'll buy him next season off Southampton at three times the price they paid for him this season :pac:
Nah, we will look for him on loan for the season with an option to buy and only paying half his wages;)

I think my head just melted from acronyms.

Just be glad Raif didn't post it. All those acronyms with his predilection for capitalisation and one would be excused for thinking they were reading posts by Terry Pratchett's Death on the Liverpool thread.

    Hey!
Anyone think Felani could work for the Pool as he seems to be available at a knock down price
Assuming we would deal with Man U

I'd love it! Just for the backtracking we all could partake in, it would really add to our rep as the worstest fans.

Lukaku hasn't signed for Everton yet folks. The presser was for an announcement about Barkley's new contract.

His release clause kicks in next summer. It's an open debate if either Liverpool or United will be playing in the CL next year, but there is no way United will perform like last year in the league with Moyes gone but the questions remains will they break into the top 4 again and can liverpool keep their place?

If both Liverpool and United were to make the CL then Reus may have a choice between a few clubs. It if came down to United or Liverpool next summer United could offer greater wages.

Cannot see Reus joining either personally as i would expect Barca to be in for him but if he goes to England the choice of City, Chelsea, United or Liverpool will mean in no uncertain terms that there isn't a hope he would join Liverpool.

Shaqiri isn't interested, Sanchez had no interest and yet some believe that Reus, a superior player, would jump at the chance to join Liverpool! :D

United back in the CL. Shaquiri rejected Liverpool. Liverpool won't offer competitive wages next year. People believe Reus is 'jumping at the chance' for a move to Liverpool.

You make an awful lot of assumptions considering we're a year away from any of this happening.

Barca will be unable to make any transfers next Summer by the way. Unless you're assuming they win their appeal?

So thats why Shaqiri was favouring tweets on twitter saying Liverpool should buy him https://twitter.com/XS_11official/favorites .
All respected Liverpool journalists reported that Markovic was picked instead of Shaqiri.

I only know of him what I saw at the world cup. Anyone know more?
Could he do a job this year for us or is he better off on loan for another year? I woudl have thought it would be good to bring him in for abit (maybe til Jan) and then let him out on loan.

I dont think you're on your own.

but I did like what I seen.

but still filed under 'Ryan Babel' until he has a few PL games under his belt.

Assuming we buy another attacker it's hard to see where he'd get the game time, League Cup maybe, a loan back is probably the right option. Maybe long term replacement for Lambert though he looks a different player.

Wonder if we'd have reconsidered the loan if Borini had left before the Remy deal collapsed.

£10 million seems to be the fee.

I know I maybe in a minority but I'm happy with that.

Scouts been watching him since the days of U-15's according to the official website

I'd say a good few add ons in that, though the loan deal could be counted in it as well.

    say hello, goodbye.

he goes back to Lille on loan as rumoured.

If we dont sign a striker then something tells me we might be trying in Jan to get him on a flight over.

Hard to get too excited over Origi as we won't see him for another year. Will be interesting to see his progress this season at Lille. By this time next year we might be very excited to see him play for us though.

That Sky Sports rip-off style graphic the club insist on using is so cheap and nasty looking.

Origi seems to come from great footballing stock.

    His Dad was a pro.

and we have been tracking him since he was 15 according to the official site.

Lean a lille bit closer, and I'll tell you about this origi we're having.

Honestly, I'd never heard of the fella before the World Cup but he looked good in the games I seen him play. The fact he started several games ahead of Lukaku shows he must have something about him.

10m is nothing to a PL club these days anyway. Could probably recoup half that even if he had a season sitting on our bench.

Did the club confirm whether he'll be loaned back to France?
