The point of DNA based weapons is you can target a single individual apparently

So, if they worked - you could eliminate the rocket-launching brigade without harming innocent Palestinian people.

But you would need a sample of THAT persons DNA to target him no?

Israel is preventing the creation of a Palestinian state for the simple reason that they view the West Bank as an inherent part of Eratz Israel and are in the process of colonising it wholesale.

Again you're just factually wrong. Utterly wrong like. A minute ago you were insinuating the Palestinians were at fault for not investing in the water system and now you're admitting that Israel controls it in its entirety. You're falling over yourself.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_in_Palestine

"The West Bank's main resource of natural water is groundwater from the Mountain Aquifer, most of it derived from rainfall and snowmelt on the Palestinian side of the Green Line. Palestinians abstract about 20% of the "estimated potential" of the aquifers that underlie both the West Bank and Israel.[8] Israel abstracts the rest and in addition overdraws its share by over 50%, using about 1.8 times what it is allowed under the Oslo agreement.[8]"

"Israel extracts more water from the West Bank than agreed in the Oslo Accord, while Palestinian abstractions were within the agreed range. Contrary to expectations under Oslo II, the water actually abstracted by Palestinians in the West Bank has dropped between 1999 and 2007. Due to the Israeli over-extraction, aquifer levels are near ″the point where irreversible damage is done to the aquifer.″ Israeli wells in the West Bank have dried up local Palestinian wells and springs.[8]"

Exactly. Israel has declared that it has effectively annexed parts of the West Bank and is concentrating on expanding their illegal settlements within the land they illegally seized.

Wrong again. I've seen it happen with my own eyes. It happens in huge numbers all over the West Bank and the men who get through often do so on a weekly or even daily basis. They are an important source of cheap undocumented labour within Israel. There was a very popular film made about it recently. If you think Hamas are unable to smuggle a man with a bomb into Israel you're codding yourself. The erection of the barrier was nothing to do with security and everything to do with stifling any potential for a Palestinian state. Considering they're still aggressively expanding beyond the barrier any talk of it being a secure border is bullsh*t.

But yet you thought there was a freeze on settlements and the PA had control over the water? Sounds me you're a typical Hasbara type peddling obfustications and untruths about the area as usual.

So your claim about Hamas admitting to wanting Palestinian civilians is rubbish then.

Channel 4 news had a hamas spokesman on yesterday saying Hamas have not hidden behind civilians nor is it their intention to maximise fatalities.

There were also civilians interviewed saying that they were under no pressure by Hamas to stay in their houses, but rather they said they had to because there is nowhere to go. Gaza is the densest place on earth, after all.

So yeah, swing and a miss.

As opposed to the thin air, "freudian slip" video's and organizations run by former members of Mossad, links that you have provided.

You also, ignored links from the World bank earlier as well, made claims in regards to an independent.co.uk investigation that you couldn't prove and have made other farcical claims repeatedly, like no settlement expansion and other such nonsense.

If rockets were stored in the hospital, or if rockets were fired from it (or the immediate area), or if any other terrorist activity was being performed there, and if sufficient warning was given - the hospital is a legitimate target and it is not a war crime.

By the way - the fact that the Hamas leadership is hiding under a hospital - that's a war crime.

You're beating your head against a brick wall, you know.

Take it easy will ya!! He is entitled to his opinion as are you. You don't have to call his comments "bollocks" just cos you don't agree. Too many apologists for Hamas on this thread. They brought this on themselves and the people they represent. It's awful for us to look at from a distance but this conflict had no known solution. .... At least one that both sides will be happy with.
well his comment was bollox, and so is yours, there are no "apologists for Hamas" on this thread, even if hamas did nothing israel would rape and slaughter, like i said time and time again, this is about territory and eradicating the palestinian population

You didn't even watch the video did you?
It's a known fact that there is a huge gap between what Hamas say in English to the world, and what they say in Arabic to their people and to the Arab world.
I never said Hamas pressured them to stay, I said Hamas asked them to stay as part of the struggle - their deaths are a propaganda victory, and there are enough people there with a suicide bomber's frame of mind to jump at the opportunity.

Like it or not - the video speaks for itself, and the translation is correct.

So when rockets rain down on Israel what exactly would you like them to do?
well if they treated people with respect from the start then maybe the situation where people decided to start firing rockets wouldn't have came to be

I actually think Ireland would have been wiped out by the Brits if the Irish started firing rockets every day into London and 80% of the UK population had to visit their bomb shelters a few times a day on a regular basis.
I doubt the Brits would have allowed such attacks to go on for years without crushing whomever was attacking them completely and with no reservation.
they would have had a harder fight though, after all the BA were unable to defeat the IRA

Act with proportion, you say. So you want the IDF the use their citizens has human shields too?
shur they can't, they need as many people as possible to move in when they have eradicated the population of the palestinian territories, otherwise i've no doubt they probably would use their citizens as human shields, and then make out that there is another holicost

It seems Hamas wants as many Palestinian civilians dead as possible – apparently they see this as an effective method of fighting the occupation.
At least they are not forcing people to go up on those roofs before Israel shells them – Hamas just gave the order and there are plenty of volunteers who value the achieved propaganda value more than they value their own lives.

The second clip contains an interesting Freudian slip of the tongue by the Hamas spokesman…

So, Hamas wants as many Palestinians dead, and the Palestinian civilians themselves apparently are more than happy to oblige… Seems like the only ones in the area that actually want to spare Palestinian lives are the UN and Israel.
you mean the UN, the israelies don't care one bit about palestinian civilians
