These days definitely. It really only takes tops of a fortnight anymore.
    Get onto them KKV.

    Edit: No problem :)

Just rang the Garda Station. Asked if they'd check if it was a stolen car or such. They took the reg plate and chassis number of me, and asked if I knew the name of the previous owner.

Said all the info I gave them matched up and there's nothing about the car coming up on their system.

I'll give it another week or so, then ring the seller and see what the story is I suppose.

    That's a bit of relief, I suppose. :o

How do you know it was that car?
If you do, id be em doing something to his car that would be quite frowned upon on here

It was a three door astra with those extra long doors. The door edge lines up exactly where it would swing to and I'm the beneficiary of some nice light blue paint transfer as well.

All I could do was leave a stinking note, eff all else I can do and wasn't planning on waiting around all day.
I was only saying to the missus the other day that I might start looking at a new car, this has put me right off the idea.

Might as well just weld some of these to the side of my car and relish the carnage.

Them extra long doors are absolute pain I had them on the focus and you would want to park 2 metres away from everything at least and when you take your hand off the door it will keep swinging out. Everytime I'd park at home a good bit away from the wall if there was a passenger getting out they'd still open the door and it would whack full force of the wall very annoying the edge of the door was wrecked. Still pain for you I now it is very annoying it's happened to me a few times.

Just back from the drifting at Tynagh, some nice cars and some good pilots.

Also, some awful heaps of scrap and some severe donkeys too:D

Special mention to a bloke in a red Sierra, I've never heard an engine spend so long on the limiter, it must be made of Titanium, and the poor bloke in the black mx5, it just didn't have the juice to spin up the rears, he kept trying and kept under steering off:pac:

Oh it works alright! Even US cars have gained over 120bhp with stock turbos on their "premium" fuel which is our standard 95 AFAIK. They call 98-100 RON race fuel over there :pac:

Race fuel in the US is actually 110 RON, all of the likes of COPO camaros run on that.

Cleveland is right, its E85, and all those big dyne numbers are from cars running it, you usually have to upgrade your injectors if you are using it long term.

Driving test in the morning.... so I did a lesson today to get the finishing touches done.

Driving part of it is fine but I think I need to brush up on the rules of road and signs.

Forgot what the sign for a clearway and predestion street were :/

Left the jeep keys on top of the roof of the 206 yesterday evening (then forgot about them). Decided to take the 206 for a spin last night when it was dark. Heard a noise, brushed it off, then when I turned on the rear wiper I heard another noise. It only dawned on me that the keys were on the roof when dad went looking for them today. When driving the keys must have fell from the roof onto the rear wiper and from the rear wiper onto the road when I turned it on. Went to where I heard the noise, and there the keys were at the side of the road, over 3 miles from the house

So the ethanol tax credit/corn farming subsidy has a good social reason.....

I'll tell ya, an MX5 has plenty of power to send it wide.
He definitely wasn't trying hard enough. :p

Did it have a reg on it? Year?

No reg on it, it wasn't a mk1 though. I'm sure it does, this one didn't though.
Even down the straight, loads of noise and no go.
Every time he got to a corner, he pitched her in and right where the wheels should start to spin it just gripped and under steered like a baxtard.
Poor bugger. He kept trying though:D
