uPVC Sash & 'regular' uPVC windows

    Is there any more maintenance involved in having a modern uPVC sash window compared to a modern 'regular' uPVC window?

    I know there is more maintenance involved with old wooden-frame sash windows as they have a rope/weights, but modern uPVC sash windows don't have this (as far as I'm aware).
