Hope we have a buy back clause on Bebe i think he will prove lot's of people wrong.

Actually thought Bebe would the exact type of project LVG would love to take on.

Was thinking the very same thing. Considering he totally outperformed the guy who Benfica just sold to the 'pool for £20M (in a far inferior team) I wonder what price he is being sold for.

If its only a few million then I would have preferred to see what LVG would have done with him this year but I suppose he is still a young player and deserves a chance to play for one of the biggest cubs in his home nation.

Damn, he's like my favourite player. Who am I to root for now?

Cleverley is what 24 and playing football all his life some people think LVG can coach him into a good player.

Bebe is the same age has had very little coaching. He has had one full season in a top league and he was so good the biggest team in Portugal want him. He has bags of raw potential. Just with his speed, power and the power of his shots he has so much that with the right coaching in a year or two he could be a fantastic player.

He may never be good enough for United. But i would rather keep him around and find out then sell him for peanuts and watch him turn into a very good player. I hope LVG get's to see him in pre season before any transfer is made. I would much rather focus on developing Bebe than persisting with the likes of cleverley, Young and Valencia.

I really think out of anything we do or don't do this summer, selling Bebe will be the biggest mistake we can make if there's no buy back clause in there.

Vidal is trending on twitter - Ireland again.

    As one tweeter put it...

I got a bit of amusement from this video. DJ Adam Catterall on Manchester's Key 103 station had Nicole Scherzinger in studio. He rewrote some lyrics to 'Don't cha wish...' with RVP in mind for her to sing along to, results below...

Do we really have the luxury of finding out though? We are top heavy with attackers and have fewer than usual games next season, where are we going to find 10/15 matches that we can give Bebe meaningful gametime for his development?

We have to focus on the league next season, we simply cannot miss out on top four and so we just cannot be taking chances on a guy like Bebe. Letting him go is the right call.

Exactly where hardly in the position to be taking a punt on players atm, Did anybody exactly watch Bebe on a regular basis last year? I'm of the opinion that he still is not good enough for us, hopefully he has a good career and all the best to him all the same.

Bébé to Benfica....... damn, a week to late. I was at their ground last week and bought a jersey that was on sale for half price. Would have loved to get Bébé printed on it for the laugh.

I hope it works out for him.

Bebe always reminded me of Patrickulus from the film Troy.

Moved like Ronaldo..ran like Ronaldo...tried to play like Ronaldo...but in the end failed because he wasn't Ronaldo.

(As a disclaimer Bebe has gotten a much better deal here then poor Patrickulus)

Be more interested in taking the £85K a week wages off the books. Bebe was only on about £15K a week, as was Buttner so not freeing up a whole lot of revenues.

Anderson, Young and Fletcher are each on excellent money and contribute relatively little. The sooner the 'fat' is trimmed the better for the squad.

With regards to the Vidal on off saga I would be supprised if we don't make any more signings as our midfield still needs reinforcements. Lvg surely recognises this and unless he can get the players who performed well below par last season playing to their potential we could miss our on top 4 again. Huge risk

So is there actually a realistic chance of us signing Vidal this summer? As in more of a realistic chance than Cleverly being named Fans player of the year 14/15?

Very realistic chance of Vidal. I think 60\40 in our favour personally.

Imagine the midfield next season with Herrera and Vidal, would be amazing considering how little investment it's received since 2009 *Drools*

Sign a good center half and that team should have no reason not to be challenging for the title. So excited compared to this time last year when Moyes was appointed

This is where Woodward could really impress me.

If he's as good a salesman as we're led to believe then he should have no problem offloading these guys and perhaps make a bit of money.
