IST done, was familiar indeed ;) I found it tough enough again, such a pressure with time. I passed it last time but really don't know how to feel about it again, could have so easily failed or passed! :/ Does anyone know what the pass mark was last year - was it 50/75?

Don't think preparation helps too much for these tests if I'm honest. September seems like so far away lol

I agree. I also think the same for the AC to a certain extent.

You can practice what you know to get in the mindset but it really is a case of you know it or you don't.

The only part of the process you can 100% affect is the PCA :)

Is it just because us boardies are obviously the first to apply for a campaign that we all seem to sit our ist's in the first few days? Is there many left on here still to sit?

To the people who have already completed the IST, for the numerical section of the test, is there a requirement for people to do multiplication or division in their head cause i dont know how different it will be to do the real thing in comparison to the mock test? Ill buy the person who answers a bag of wine gums!!

A blank sheet is provided to help with working out.

theres no way you could do some of the questions without makes notes/sums

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 193 ✭✭VES86

You'll have paper to work it out on but it's multiple choice anyway the last section
More about being able to grasp A LOT of information quickly as a posed to doing a lot of calculations

    Hope that helps
