If we are legitimately holding talks with Di Maria and Vidal, then we have to atleast sign one of them (if the price is respectable). Vidal is ahead of Di Maria in terms of positions we need to fill, but we shouldn't turn down Di Maria just because we sign Vidal, and vice versa.

Rumours saying Vidal talks coming along nicely but Di Maria is more inclined for PSG because of Champions League football.

Apparently Villa are interested in taking Young back for 7 million...

    DO IT!!!

Also, i've posted something similar before, but here's a stats comparison between Vidal & Herrera. Ander compares pretty well.

    Here

At least Scholes can see the areas that need improving, unlike Giggs, who thinks Cleverly is better then Thiago.

    Sure, CL.

And not a massive wage packet.

I wouldn't lose too much sleep if we lost di maria to PSG but what does annoy me is the fact that PSG are practically saying **** you and your financial fair play to uefa

That would be a great deal for us. Have Villa gone totally nuts??

    Here's a nice review of Vidal's 2013/14 season.

He was pretty good for them in fairness, maybe they feel they can get the best out of him again! (lol) a hefty wage cut would be on the cards though you'd think!

Meh, Villa is about Young's level. He'd be a good player for them.

Really hope we sell young, he is the one utd player I really despise. Seen him in a club in London last year as well drinking £500 bottles of champagne at table next to us thinking he the big shot 2 days before a utd game but he was injured at the time

    Hahaha I love you.

What did you want him to do? He is injured and not playing.

Were you with your brother as well?

Slightly OT but Adidas are having a 50% off sale, some serious savings to be made if anyone is looking for some gear.

Seen that in bargain alerts alright, picked up a few bargains meself. Love the retro stuff, this would be the best track top ever if it didn't have those garish shapes all over it, absolutely ruined it.

Read into it what you will - probably nothing - but the bookies now have him as more likely to go to Utd than stay with Juve.

    Pogba agent ends Chelsea talk
“Paul to Chelsea? It’s just fantasy football,” agent Mino Raiola told Tuttosport.

“Everything is perfect at Juventus and no meetings are planned.”

Why if anything someone like paddy power would let him say whatever he feels the need to.

We've seen the agenda's that exist in places like sky "Pro British, pretty much propaganda that helped keep Moyes in his job".

I never actually thought of it like that Beno, but you're spot on.

Yeah it has been said/speculated/rumoured/whatever that di Maria does indeed want to go to PSG, but Real Madrid would rather sell to United.

In the same category as the above, it is being said (truth totally unknown) that the Suarez deal to Barcelona has upset Reus. Barcelona were leading the race to sign Reus but the new manager doesn't want him. It was said United ended their interest when they believed Reus was moving to Barcelona as a deal between the two had been worked on for months...maybe a bit like Kroos to United.
Reus could still move this summer but for United, I don't think they would get both Hummels and Reus, getting one would be hard enough.

Juventus being linked with Fredy Guarin. Why would they need another midfielder...? ;)

With crooked feckers like Blatter and Platini in charge I'm not confident that will happen

This is interesting. Ive heard it a bit but have not read up on Platini s non playing career, is there evidence backing up the notion that he's crooked? Blatter seems to be irredeemably bent but other than rumours that Platini s vote for the world cup after next was bought or certainly pressured by big business and politics in France I've not heard any other stories. Well apart from his son being involved with PSG, which seems a conflict of intetest but not crooked per se.

They almost signed him in January.

Another Chilean newspaper going with Vidal to United. £35 million plus Nani, deal to be trashed out next week once the information on Vidal's knee injury is good - don't want another Hargreaves.

It will happen in my opinion once the info on the knee is good, Vidal was given injections into the knee for the World Cup games according to other reports.

    Cheers.

I don't think either of us are saying a thing about the business plan. I just think the deals we are making now could have the debt paid off quite quickly. Imagine the club without the debt. It would free up a lot of money.

I'm no accountant but I believe having debt is not as bad as it seems. I think you pay less tax. The debt is irrelevant as long as it's manageable which it seems to be.

I like what Scholes has to say. He doesn't seem afraid to speak his mind.

As for Paddy Power, I admire what they've done from humble beginnings. Their prices are rarely good and they won't take chunky bets but so what. We're free to go elsewhere.

And as for slagging off United last season, if I wasn't a United fan I probably would have been doing the same. Moyes' United were an embarrassment and if anything got an easy ride from the media. He was fully deserving of turnips superimposed on his head and "Turkey - How much longer can this embarrassment go on?" headlines. We were a soft and obvious target for, I'm sorry to say, ridicule.

But a certain Iron Tulip is changing that...and they fear us again

    PP are cnuts.

The markets they have, like oscar pistorius etc.

They are a "publicity at all costs" gang.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Where is FutureGuy? Di Maria and Vidal is an automatic DEFCON 1.

Was on odds checker. Think it was 1.65 Utd and 2.2 Juve. Think it was for Skybet maybe c

I'll be doing the David Brent dance if we manage to land both Vidal and Di Maria, but I'm worried about the lack of back-up for Shaw at LB.
