    Good morning,

Soap, provided it does not contain any harmfull chemicals can be imported into Ireland without restriction. The rate of duty is 0% (zero) so you would only be liable for VAT. If you are a VAT registered trader, VAT is a reclaimable expense in your periodic VAT return.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks RUDOLF289
Ok its a hand made soap sold in 'bricks' .
I know it's natural but do i need any certificates to get it into ireland. I imagine i could bring in some samples over but when it comes to importing large quantities, how can i make sure it gets through the customs without problems.

    Regards,
    Rafal
