He could probably do a job at fullback but would his wages be lower than Johnson?

If he was better than Johnson, which, let's face it,wouldn't be hard then who cares if his wages are lower?

Why isn't Damiao playing for Brazil? Is he Injured or was he not Picked for their WC Squad?

Fred and Jo are simply Muck, to lead the line for Brazil. Surely, Scolari knows that.

    Damiao is a flop too.

According to Graham Hunter Di Maria is available for €50 million or so, which will allow RM to push for James Rodriguez.

Why not push for Di Maria?

wow, wow... really dont think Di Maria is worth fiddy, I wouldn't pay over 30 for him tbh...

Lets not kid ourselves, they are a massive club. Plus they have the financial means to compete with most others.

and a manager who's WC team could be going to the final :(

Cant imagine his wages would be in the right bracket for a fullback position at LFC after being in Turkey for the last couple of seasons. Anyways I wasn't really being serious as I think that boat has sailed.

He has really become Mr utility in the Dutch squad, in the last dutch game he played LWB, RWB and RM which shows his class in being able to adapt to different positions, considering we bought him as a striker.

Great Guy but wouldn't want him back.

Sure Bert van Marwijk got the Netherlands into the last World Cup final.

    Been sacked twice since.

Really? Know nothing about Damiao, except he was once a Highly-rated Prospect that was Linked with Spurs, that some on here wants.

But I do know about Fred and Jo. Specially Jo.

Fred I could understand, even though he's getting Old. But Jo? Surely this Damiao would be better than Jo.

Just a quick glance at wiki says 3 goals in 17 brazil aps, obviosuly not including the 6 he scored in the olympics in 2012. Hes played 3 games since the new year too, he was at one stage beimg forever linked with spurs. Always seemed an average enough player who people seemed to over rate. Quite ironic how well costa would have fitted this current brazil squad.

One of the most clutch players we've ever had. Pulled us out of so may scrapes over the years. Last minute winner against Standard Liege to get us into the Champions League. Incredible sub appearance against Portsmouth to keep us in the title hunt.

Also, scored for us in every Champions League stage, from qualifiers right through to and including the final. Incredible achievement.

The Rodgers second best bit of business this summer will be moving Johnson from right back to the clubs on call mathematician that can assist in tackling our finically woes.

    2. Liverpool have agreed fee and terms for Divock Origi but are having to hold off a late challenge from Spurs for his signature.

We should bid for Welbeck just to watch spurs sign him.
