I wonder could anyone advise me as to the best value electric bikes available under the bike to work scheme ? I haven't cycled in many years but I would like to build up my fitness again through cycling over the summer. Then perhaps I would like to cycle the few km to work as my confidence grows . I do not intend to use the electric capability of the bike all the time! It is there to assist up hills or at times when I have some discomfort. I have arthritis which is why I think that an electric bike may be a good choice for me! I would appreciate people's thoughts and experiences!

Be careful - some of the cheaper stuff is just Chinese rubbish.
You might be better off choosing a normal bike and adding a kit to convert it to electric.
Most of the kits are sourced in China and the electronics are grand, but a full Chinese built bike can be an awful yoke.

It's got a good reputation and I'm sure it would be a good buy.

I went with a company based in Spain.

    here

I ordered from them as buying direct from China would involve an uncertain amount of VAT and duty and would have taken a lot longer.
My order came within 3 working days and the quality seems very good although I haven't put it on the bike yet.
    So far, I'd recommend them.
