I use dove gradual tan on my face but find that cleansers remove it!
I'm using micellar water as someone said cleansing balm would strip it!!

I'm not sure as personally I like to give my face a double cleanse in the evening esp after wearing sunscreen. I wouldn't use a cheap product like dove on my face as it would break me out and block my pores. I can recommend the new Clarins tan- you add a couple of drops to your moisturiser at night and it gives a nice glow

Dove is one of the most gentle drug store soaps you can get but if you plan on spray tanning often, I'd get a cleanser specifically for spry tanned skin which is usually sold at the tanning salon. If yours doesn't have any, I'd stop in another salon to see what they offer. I've used the versaspa brand shower cleanser before and it's very nice but I'll warn you that it is going to be a lottt more expensive than your normal bar or bottle of soap
