No food in the cinema, why do people feel the need to stuff their faces and inevitably sit beside me like a cow on the cud. Bliss is an empty cinema, free from such annoyances. If I were King, I'd send cinema eaters to the salt mines

I only go to the cinema for their yummy food, the film is just a bonus, nachos and buttered popcorn :)

I get a takeaway delivered to my seat half an hour in - assigned seating makes the delivery drivers job so much easier.

Tin of tuna, bag of boiled cabbage and a can of prune juice

Who on earth drinks in the cinema

An ex-girlfriend introduced me to it. It's honestly great craic with the right movie - I wouldn't exactly be drinking watching Syrianna or Munich, but stuff like comedies, ridiculous films, action films etc, all make for a good time with a secret naggon and head out afterwards.

Some absolute degenerate brought a bag of chips into the cinema one time. The whole screen stank. I was starvin' leaving!

It was pretty foul. I always bring my own goodies to the cinema, not a bloody dinner!

Fyi, if you put vodka in one of those frozen slushie things it melts it all!!

    Large bag of haribo sorted.

one of my mates usually brings in a few cans, looked like a genius last time he done it. His wife carried them in in handbag.
Are cinemas around the UK can drink in, and in cineworld beforehand so I don't see the problem.

A carrier bag full of microwave popcorn, hip flask with Irish whiskey in it, and a packet of Jacob's cream crackers, to piss everyone off.

What kinda cans? Can's of baked beans?

Why did you put an apostrophe in the first one and not in the second one?

For ****'s sake, if you're going to use them incorrectly, at least be consistent.

One way of having the whole cinema to yourself I guess..

Wouldn't want to be sitting down wind of that.

A flask of tea, a roast chicken, a tub of butter and a loaf.

    Story time..

I recall being in the cinema years ago and seeing a Mum a couple of rows up opening her big handbag and handing out neatly cling-filmed home made sandwiches to a gaggle of kids she had with her. The kids were as happy as pups with two tails. They probably just didn't have the money to buy the expensive stuff at the sweet kiosk but they had their own cinema munch regardless.

    Delightful.

Was in the cinema today, and some lad lost the head with someone in front of him using their phone. He stood up roaring. FFing and everything. Deffo reckons he posts here.

OP here...So I haven't been to the flicks in five years.

Do I really need to hide my sweets in my bag?
Am I going to be asked to leave if I'm seen carrying a bag of goodies in?
I'm going to an IMC cinema.
